Who you are contracting with. Work carried out in the United Kingdom is contracted with Orleyton Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 12577916, whose registered office is The Old Plough, Bagstone Road, Bagstone, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire GL12 8BD. VAT registration GB 347 9139 66. Alturascope is a trading name of that company in the UK.

This website is provided for general information about Alturascope and its services. Nothing on the site creates a contractual commitment unless agreed separately in writing.

You may browse and use the site for legitimate business and informational purposes. You may not misuse the site, attempt to interfere with its operation, or reproduce content in a misleading way.

Service scopes, timelines, and pricing are project-specific and will only be confirmed through direct communication and written proposal.

The following applies to work carried out through the Alturascope Estimating Desk. Each engagement is confirmed in writing before work begins, and the terms of that written engagement take precedence over this summary.

The nature of the work. An estimate is a professional opinion of cost based on the documents and information supplied to us and on the rates and assumptions stated in the accompanying Basis of Estimate. It is not a warranty, guarantee or representation of final outturn cost, and it does not constitute a valuation, a certification, or advice on the commercial merits of pursuing or pricing any particular opportunity.

Your review and sign-off. Every estimate is issued to the client as a draft, made available in a client-specific account on the estimating platform and, where requested, as a document. Alturascope does not issue any estimate, quotation, bid or tender to a third party on a client's behalf. Responsibility for reviewing the estimate, verifying that the scope priced matches the scope intended, applying commercial judgement to margin and risk, and releasing the document under the client's own name rests with the client. Deliverables are prepared so that this review can be carried out efficiently and on an informed basis.

Information supplied. The accuracy and completeness of an estimate depend on the accuracy and completeness of the documents provided. Where documents are incomplete, contradictory or illegible, we state the assumptions made and carry allowances or provisional sums rather than omitting scope. We do not independently verify the accuracy of drawings, specifications or survey information supplied to us unless separately instructed to do so.

Revisions. Two revisions are included with each package where the revision falls within the agreed basis, including addenda, rate corrections and clarifications. Changes of scope, re-basing to a materially different document set, or re-pricing after the stated validity period are re-quoted before the work is undertaken.

Validity. Estimates carry a stated validity period. Material, labour and subcontract prices move, and an estimate relied upon after its stated validity has expired should be re-based before it is submitted or used to enter into a contract.

Confidentiality and exclusivity. Documents provided to us are treated as confidential and are used solely to produce the deliverables for that engagement. We will sign a client's non-disclosure agreement before documents are transferred where one is requested. We price a given package for one bidder only, on a first-instructed basis; if we are already engaged on a package that is subsequently sent to us by another party, we decline the second instruction and say so promptly. We will not price work in respect of a site that we have documented for another party to the same transaction.

Platform access and data handling. Clients are provided with an account on the estimating platform for the purpose of reviewing and adjusting their own estimates. That account is provided at no charge, carries no software licence, and creates no ongoing commitment on either side; it may be withdrawn on completion or on request. Client documents and rate data are held under a client-specific tenancy and are not pooled with, or used to price work for, any other client. Where a client amends an estimate within their own account, responsibility for the amended figures rests with the client. Rate libraries and priced models built during an engagement belong to the client and are exportable on request, including on termination.

Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to the terms of the individual written engagement, Alturascope's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with an estimating engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and Alturascope is not liable for loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss. Liability cover appropriate to the engagement can be confirmed in writing on request.

Independence. Alturascope does not carry out construction works, does not supply materials, and does not take any share of, or commission on, the value of work estimated. Where an estimate is produced using the Vyntworks platform, that relationship is disclosed openly and does not affect the independence of the estimate.

Ownership. The photographs, aerial captures, measured meshes and digital-twin views published on this site — including those in the surveyed locations gallery — are Alturascope's own work, produced during commissioned site surveys. Copyright in them is retained by Alturascope.

Permitted use. They are published so that prospective clients can judge the standard of the work. They are not offered for general reuse, stock licensing or redistribution, and they may not be copied, reproduced, altered or used to represent another party's work without written permission.

What is deliberately not shown. Locations are identified by centre or street and, where relevant, by state — never by occupier, tenant or suite number. No image is published that discloses an occupier's identity, confidential interior arrangement or an identifiable person. Client capture data is confidential and is never published; the gallery shows the opening view of a capture, not its contents.

Enquiries. Requests to use, reproduce or licence any image — including press and publication use — should be made through the enquiry form. Requests from a party depicted in, or connected to, a documented site are handled as a priority.
