Built on the understanding that accurate documentation changes outcomes.
Alturascope exists because the documentation most project teams receive doesn't match the decisions they're trying to make. Survey reports with no useful structure. Digital twins delivered without context. Conditions information that arrives too late, or in a format nobody can actually use.
We built something different. Every Alturascope visit produces the same structured deliverable architecture — not because we're rigid, but because consistency is what allows project teams to compare sites, brief consultants, and move forward with confidence. The brief changes. The standard doesn't.
Our background is in construction and the built environment — nearly two decades of it, across commercial fit-out, conservation, and project delivery at every scale. That experience includes hands-on construction work, collaboration with architects and conservation specialists on some of Britain's most significant historic buildings, and documentation work across almost every US state and every Canadian province. We know what buildings look like from the inside — not just through a camera.
We are based in Montreal and operate a national travel model across the US and Canada, with a dedicated UK operation for work in Britain. We take on a relatively small number of projects at any time, which means every one gets the same attention.
What Sets Us Apart
We built ScopeWalk because email folders aren't good enough.
Every deliverable lives in a structured, permanent portal — not a WeTransfer link. Your team can access every project at any time. For multi-site programmes, you can compare any two properties side by side.
We include travel. Always.
Nationwide coverage means nothing if travel costs arrive as a surprise. Our pricing includes travel to any location in the US, Canada, or the UK. You brief us once. We handle the logistics.
We scope before we quote.
Every project starts with a conversation about what you're trying to decide. That shapes what we capture, which shapes what you receive. We don't send a standard package when a tailored brief would serve you better.
If you have a project — straightforward or otherwise — we'd like to hear about it.
